Life on the Streets
You step out onto the street that smelled rancid with toxins.
Knowing that you no longer have a home, you pad on with heavy paws without one glance back at the place you have come from.
Your heart heavy with the feeling of rejection, you padd on hopefully to find a better life for yourself.
People walk by without even looking down at you and The cars rush by, yet noone stops.
Noone cares that you wonder the streets with no home.
You wonder on and on and the sun starts to fall behind the tall houses so you find a dark ally to find some shelter.
While you were there, you had come upon a group of cats that could give you a home with family, friends and food.
They offer you a choice to stay with them, or to wonder through the world alone.
Will you join them?
You decide.

About In the Sadows of the City
In the Shadows of the Ally is a site that is, in a way, based on the series Warriors. Like in the Warriors books, there is a leader, a deputy, a medicine cat, a medicine cat apprentice, and there's warriors, apprentices, elders, queens, and kits. Unlike the clans, however, these cats do not live out in the wide open forests, but they live as a group of strays in a big city. They hunt mice and rats and they scavenge in garbage cans for food. They need to have fighting skills to take down other strays wanting to take their food or just wanting a fight. There are a lot of dangers in in cities, so the thrill almost never ends.
